This week’s feature is hand picked from Swizz Beatz No Commission Art Exhibition, which will kick off this Thursday and last throughout the weekend. Her name is Nadine Ijewere and her photography are masterpieces of Art and authenticity. Having graduated from the University of Arts, London with a BA in Fashion Photography, this queen of photography is classically trained yet has a natural ability to capture traditional photos in a nontraditional way.

Combining the enchanting energy from both the fashion world and art of photography, it is not hard to see the beauty that the intersection of these two various art mediums create. Candid with character and swag, vanity never looked so organic – perhaps because Ijewere does not see vanity at all – only the authenticity of the human spirit in physical form in the raw.

With clients such as Stella McCartney, Asos, Selfridges, Gap, Huffington Post, Ray Ban, Tate London and the list goes on coupled with the following exhibitions: Nataal New African Photography II (RedHook Labs NYC – 2017); Tate Britain (Generation – 2016); Rupi Kaur 2015 and LCF (Graduate Show – 2014), the marvel and mysterious wonder that Ijewere received is no surprise. Check out her artwork and let us know if it moves you.
