Mr. Peter Gene Hernandez (a.k.a. Bruno Mars) cleaned up at the 60th Annual Grammy celebration about a week ago. Taking home 6 Grammys and giving a smashing performance, this King never ceases to amaze me. Oozing with talent and nostalgic R&B flavor and funk-infused magic, this American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and choreographer from Honolulu won the following coveted categories: Album of the Year (24K Magic); Record and Song of the year (That’s What I Like”); Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Album, Best R&B Song and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical, making him the year’s most decorated artist.

An authentic and faithful spirit, Mr. Mars accepted the Album of the Year and paid homage to his mentors in his respective categories such as Jay Z – such a class act! Mars mentioned how many of the nominees inspire him to reach for a level of excellence in his work. He also mentioned how he wanted to create music that would make people dance and smile and laugh again – FEEL GOOD Music. So to spice it up, we are featuring the remix of “Finesse” featuring Cardi B. with a spirit of gratitude.

TRIVIA: Mars was dropped from Motown originally, but later signed to Atlantic Records in 2009 and look at his success now and resilient Spirit glowing up the word.

TAKEAWAY: Believe in your dreams no matter the set backs. If Spirit gave you the vision, it will manifest!
