Most music lovers are familiar with Marshall products. From headphones to amplifiers, Marshall has been a staple in music since 1962. Most recently, the iconic brand has expanded their assortment of products helping to make the rockstar lifestyle even more accessible.

If you’re already familiar with the Marshall’s brand, then being cool is probably not an issue for you. However, just imagine how much cooler your inner rock-star would be with a pair of their rad new sunnies. Marshall’s latest creative venture has led them into eyewear and it’s definitely worth ‘looking into’.

Designed by Lina Aastrup of Stockholm-based Swedish Eyewear, which holds the global license for Marshall Eyewear, the shades are making a serious stake in the eyewear business. “Who else in the eyewear market can truly claim to have had a rock-and-roll vision since 1962? We believe we have the only brand that can target music-interested consumers with eyewear in a legitimate way,” said President of Swedish Eyewear, David Nilsson, to Style.com. “With the outstanding look of the collection and the legacy of the brand, this will be something out of the ordinary. We are really looking forward to releasing this beast to the world now!”

The collection was inspired by rock n’ roll greats like Jimi Hendrix and Mick Jagger, with each style being named after musicians. However, their approach to their eyewear mirrors that of their approach to music. In the same way Marshall amplifies the music that’s already there, the sunglasses are created to mesh with and enhance the wearer’s identity—not outshine it.

“Marshall Eyewear is classic, simple, and cool, made with the design elements we recognize from the amplifiers—Tolex (faux leather), piping, gold metal details—and, of course, the white logo,” continued Aastrup. “Everything is handmade, just as the amps are.”

The collection launched exclusively with London’s famed Harvey Nichols with styles ranging from $175 to $230. Take a look at some of our favorites including Johnny, Jimi and Bryan, and let us know what you think! Will you be snagging a pair before summer ends?
