Just when you thought Rick Ross was the biggest boss thus far, in walked Mr. Philipp Plein! Plein had his 2016 Fall Winter Runway show yesterday in Milan, Italy. And it was definitely a show like non other per usual. Everyone in fashion knows Plein’s runway shows and after parties are the cremè de la cremè as they come! Plein has a reputation that outdoes himself from production to the model selection as ALL the details are important! This year all his models had dapper, custom leather longboards that read PHILIPP PLEIN.  What an innovative way to open the show!

This BLUE suit was my favorite runway look for sure. From the lapel pin to the patch accents. This is where the future of suiting is headed and only the BOLD will survive. This is a look that has been perfected by Plein. From the high end man to the casual guy, Mr. Philipp Plein has something for everyone.

Now this Fall Winter run will be ALL about textures. From the feel of a nice fitted sweater to a nice leather jacket, these are the pieces of the season. This leather jacket accented with red velvet is high end fashion all the way, which is what Mr.Plein was going for I am sure. This may be what prompted him to just put his name in the lapel so it is clear!

To all the Batman lovers, this must be a dream piece! A leather patched Batman long sleeve shirt. Shirts like this are always a good decision because you can dress IT up or down. Multi-functional pieces always make the cut in my opinion! And I love love love the gold color choice personally!

Of course a nice pant and jacket look is always needed, so why not add leather and velvet to it ? This way it can actually go just as many places as you would like it to and beyond! I have found with many of my men clients that the sweatsuit, jacket and pants look are a win everytime. It allows you to be as comfortable as you would like to be and for most guys that is important. I am not ever into buying full looks as they are, but this I would actually consider.

I saw this and immediately fell in LOVE. I know this look smashed the show and not red is my favorite color. BONUS. This hoodie/ jacket is the perfect piece for this fall. The construction of the coat is nice and perfect for a night out on the town when you have a statement to make.

Costume National is another one of my must haves and it will always be! They brought the fly to the runway as they are known for invinsible collars and clean cuts! This was just one of many looks. Clearly they brought the show stopper element!

Of course Moschino hit the runway hot hot hot!!! Now this is totally what I call forward thinking. Pink is the new comfort color of the modern man. Pink used to be a color that was frowned upon by men and now is one of the most sought after colors. This to me is the way runway must be done, forcing your thoughts out of the normal way of thinking. The future of fashion will depend on designers and creators keeping this theme going.
